Lexington, Virginia — Est. Locally Grown
Hand-selected produce, artisan provisions, and goods from Virginia farms you can actually name — every item on our tables has a story, and most of them start within 50 miles of Lexington.
Our Story
Rockbridge Farmers Market was born from a simple conviction: the best food doesn't need a long journey to taste right. We partner directly with Virginia growers, foragers, and artisans so every tomato, loaf of bread, and jar of honey carries the fingerprint of this place.
Located along Maury River Road in Lexington, we serve as a gathering point for neighbors who care where their food comes from — and we make sure they know the answer.
What We Offer
Our selection changes with the seasons, but our standard never does — everything must pass the taste test of our own table first.
Heirloom tomatoes, crisp greens, root vegetables, and everything the Virginia soil offers at peak ripeness — picked the same day you buy it.
Bundles of fresh herbs, edible flowers, microgreens, and foraged specialties from local woodland harvesters in the Rockbridge area.
Sourdough loaves, seasonal pastries, and flatbreads from regional bakers who treat flour like a craft — not a commodity.
Single-source wildflower honey, fruit preserves, and small-batch jams from apiaries and kitchens across the Shenandoah Valley.
Pasture-raised eggs, fresh milk, and artisan cheeses from farms that let their animals do what animals do — roam, forage, and thrive.
Walnuts in autumn, apples from orchard rows, holiday ham from smokehouses — whatever the season calls for, we track it down.
